Retention playbook
- Compensation refresh every 18 months at peer benchmark, not annual increment.
- Career path clarity at the Junior to Senior transition; biggest loss point.
- Project rotation every 18 to 24 months for senior individual contributors.
- Marquee India leader anchors retention more than any benefits package.
- Internal mobility into Generative Artificial Intelligence and Cloud roles for retainable mid level talent.
Notice period norms
Standard contractual notice is 60 to 90 days for non workmen (managerial). In practice 30 to 45 days is the negotiated norm for individual contributors; full 90 days commonly enforced for senior leadership.
